Screened Fill Dirt

Basic subsoil that has been screened (e.g., through a 1/2" or 5/8" mesh) to remove large rocks, roots, and debris. Contains minimal organic matter and nutrient value; primarily used for grading and filling.

Used for: Filling depressions, raising landscape grades, building berms (before adding topsoil), backfilling utility trenches or foundation walls where drainage material isn't required. Not intended for direct planting.
